Something short, I believe. There's been a lack of general happiness in my social life. It's been slightly harder to understand the reasons and purposes of my actions, and I get confused. But then at such times, I always thought perhaps just living in the way that will make me happiest would be best. Then, I'd either take a nap, "disappear" (not answering phones, door bells, destroying all contacts with the bothersome outside world), eat some wonderful food, read a nice book, and forget all that trouble brewing at the horizon.
To those, and I know quite a few people too, who feel as if life is missing something, perhaps it's time to meditate upon what is most important to you. It's good to be selfish sometimes, no one can truly claim to be a saint. There's always someone who will care, because no matter how different or how unfamiliar each is to the other, I believe that deep in the mind a desire exist simply to aid others.
I think I am sounding like a "emo" person, it's just ramblings. But then again, I am the happiest person I know

My teacher taught me this phrase "Life is harsh, then you die." I usually use it as a sort of mantra, repeating and repeating. It kind of helps my mindset.
Be happy, break the mundane cycle, do something new. Don't let the bad things in life get you!

The answers are always out there, but do you really want to find out? Sometimes, ignorance is a much easier choice than enlightenment...
